Refresh Loom cookie

Private Loom videos need your logged-in browser session. The cookie usually lasts ~30 days. When submits fail with a Loom cookie / transcript error, refresh it.

1. Copy the cookie from Chrome

  1. Log into Loom in Chrome.
  2. Open one of your private WSII videos (so you’re definitely authenticated).
  3. Press F12 (or right-click → Inspect) to open DevTools.
  4. Go to the Network tab.
  5. In the filter box, type graphql.
  6. Refresh the page (or click around until a graphql request appears).
  7. Click a request to www.loom.com/graphql.
  8. Open Headers → scroll to Request Headers.
  9. Find Cookie: and copy the entire value (the long string after Cookie:).

Don’t paste this into Slack/chat — it’s a login credential. Only put it into the Worker secret below.

2. Save it on the Worker

  1. Open a terminal.
  2. Run:
cd "c:\Users\arbuc\WSII Post Prod Submission\worker"
npx wrangler secret put LOOM_COOKIE
  1. When prompted, paste the full Cookie value and press Enter.
  2. No redeploy needed — the secret updates live.

3. Confirm it worked (optional)

From the worker folder, or any terminal:

curl -s -X POST "https://wsii-automation.pzimmer.workers.dev/api/test-loom" ^
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" ^
  -d "{\"loomUrl\":\"https://www.loom.com/share/YOUR_PRIVATE_VIDEO_ID\"}"

Success looks like "status":"ok" with a transcriptLength. Failure mentioning expired/missing cookie means step 1–2 needs a redo.
